The Board of Advisors consists of experienced professionals from diverse fields, appointed for one year to provide expert guidance to THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION. They meet quarterly to advise the Board of Trustees, incorporating insights from the Executive Committee.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION, from the inception itself, works on a delegated work environment. Each and every person in the organization is involved in the process of decision making in a scientifically designed system. Making Policy & Decision in the Foundation are done through a four tier system.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION promotes credibility and good governance among its partner organizations while upholding the same standards within its own operations. A qualified Company Secretary oversees the Governance & Credibility System, ensuring compliance with structured norms and capacity building for grassroots partners.
The Board of Trustees defines the Foundation’s vision and overall strategic direction, ensuring good governance in collaboration with the Board of Advisors. However, the Board of Trustees does not participate in the day-to-day operations of Smile Foundation.
The statutory auditor conducts the Statutory Audit to finalize the balance sheet and statement of affairs, ensuring compliance with standard statutory norms. The audit reports are then reviewed with the Board of Trustees, Advisory Body, and Executive Committee to identify and implement any necessary actions.
The Executive Committee manages the Foundation’s operation directly and it reports to the Board of Advisors. Members of this committee are professionals working with THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION and it is mandatory to include a member from the Board of Advisors.
This process is carried out throughout the year to maintain transparency and accountability in the organization’s internal operations.
Monthly review meetings are conducted regularly for each division and department.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION leverages technology for transparent monitoring and cost efficiency. The system is in use in select programs and will expand to all projects, with challenges including limited tech access in remote areas and low technical expertise among grassroots partners.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION follows a participatory and democratic decision-making process, involving all relevant professionals within the organization. The Salesforce CRM software has been operational across its divisions for the past year.
A monthly MIS is prepared and reviewed by the MIS Officers, then submitted to and discussed in Executive Committee meetings to evaluate operational activities and guide future planning.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION uses GPS for real-time monitoring and will introduce video conferencing to connect offices, improving decision-making, stakeholder involvement, and capacity building.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION prioritizes its people, promoting a participatory culture and conducting biannual reviews to develop future leaders.
THE GREEN VISION FOUNDATION supports staff and volunteers in further education to develop future leaders and enhance professional growth.
